Job Description
- Provides Quality Control direction to field personnel, including reviewing work quality, safety, and monitoring performance.
- Responsibilities include assuring all contractors and subcontractors comply with engineering standards and specifications.
- In addition, this individual makes certain that all engineering, surveys, inspections, etc. are complete and comply with the project.
- Creates quality assurance procedures.
- Participate and guide project quality control from kick-off until hand-off.
- Implements the QA/QC management system at the site.
- Coordinates the quality inspections with the site sub-contractors and vendors.
- Coordinates all receipt inspections.
- Distributes relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors.
- Verifies that the quality-related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards.
- Participates in internal and external site audits.
- Coordinates all the quality site inspections through the site QC inspectors.
- Ensures all quality control documentation is compiled and competed for as-built handover through the QC turnover engineer.
- Controls all nonconformance reports and undertakes remedial action.
- Completes site quality control instructions and action remedial responses.
- Reviews the specification and undertakes relevant training for the site QC inspector.
- Monitors the implementation of the approved site QC Plan.
- Completes and coordinates the approval of the site QC technical submittals to the customer.
- Coordinates with the site construction manager on all quality issues.
- Coordinate and chair the QC site weekly meetings with the project's subcontractors' QC personnel.
- Elaborates inspection and test programs.
- Assures all technical documents relative to site quality control are of current status.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering
- Solid Planning & Scheduling Experiences.
- High level of capability and skills in project planning
