Job Description
- Verification & supervision of all tests and tasks that are done by QC Technician and officer.
- Approval of the samples of R&D, Technical support, sales and any other concerned party.
- Conduct all the quality tests as per SOP inside the laboratory.
- Documenting of all lab activities and submitting regular reports.
- Specify the training needs for employees inside the laboratory. Train them and transfer the needed experience to them.
- Authorize the accepted batch ticket and Communicating of quality result immediately to the production and Support in quality troubleshooting.
- Prioritizing the testing of product within the quality control laboratory based on the priority.
- Selection of STD Samples based on batch number so that it is without change or modification, as well as matching the results of tests product for the specification required.
- Continuous monitoring and participating in cost reduction activities (electricity - water - use of improvised - leftover samples - leftover packing).
- Ensure full compliance with the instruments calibration calendar.
- Follow-up customer / supplier complaints and verification, testing and reporting till the closing of the issue.
- Verification and testing of returned finish goods before re-use or reused for new batches or revalidation.
- Ensure compliance of safety regulations inside the lab.
- Support QC manager during the visits of Certifying Bodies.
- Perform any other job-related tasks as assigned by the direct manager.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering/ Chemist.
- ISO Certified is preferred.
Experience
- 5+ years’ of experience in industrial Paints .
Technical Experience
- Auditing skill.
- ISO knowledge.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processing.
- Highly organized and structured.
- Strong technical writing skills (procedures, protocols, and reports).
