Job Description
TASKS & DUTIES:
- Communicate with management and subordinates to develop production and design standards.
- Involved & responsible in developing the master production schedule for the facility, while adjusting for changes in customer requirements, delays in receiving raw materials, availability of production equipment, etc.
- Receives newly arriving work orders and confirms scheduling.
- Reviews work orders at end of production to confirm all elements are accounted for and all steps have been properly signed off by operators.
- Maintain production schedule and update overnight priority list.
- Resolves problems utilizing acquired knowledge & analytical abilities.
- Liaising with ware-housing, quality assurance, bulk-packaging and sterilization areas to ensure prompt shipment of product.
- Monitors quality of incoming raw materials and finished products by reviewing lab data.
- Managing process and material flows, space management, and working with the Engineering group to maximize utilization of space designated for specific operations area.
- Build Quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
- Ensure employees are trained to do their work and their training is documented.
- Administration duties which include Time and Attendance system, Holiday planning, Build Plan review Back Order review, Travel planning etc.
- Supervising and motivating a team.
- Reviewing the performance of subordinates.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining health, safety, and environmental standards as required by law and company policy.
- Responsible for creating a high morale workplace with the highest ethical standards.
- Supervisory responsibility includes management of employee performance, hiring, discipline, development and recourse planning.
- Develops, monitors and implements department’s budgets and production forecasts.
- Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities, such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing work flow, relocating work stations and equipment, and purchase of equipment.
- Ability to liaise effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors and other relevant government authorities to achieve delivery objectives.
- Responsible for implementation and monitoring work schedules in accordance to the master and detailed work programmers.
- Responsible for achieving production targets in line with cost target and within required quality standards.
- Promotion and active in use of lean six sigma techniques.
- Active user of ERP systems to review and report on production.
- Continuously looking for ways to improve on cost, quality & time.
Job Requirements
EDUCATION:
- BSc. Degree in Mechanical Production Engineering or Relevant

- 15-17 years Experience
