The Hydrographic Surveyor will be responsible for conducting hydrographic surveys, data acquisition, data processing, and land surveying related to marine infrastructure projects. The role will require working on-site in Ras Laffan.QualificationsHydrographic Survey skills, primarily with Multi Beam Echosounders.Dredging knowledge and experienceData Acquisition and Data Processing skillsLand Surveying skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPrior experience on dredging projects is preferredBachelor's degree in Hydrography, Marine Geomatics, or related fieldWe are looking for a Senior Hydrographer with minimum 10 years experience, to work in Qatar.The ideal candidate should have worked in a dredging/trenching project and will be responsible for planning, coordinating and scheduling daily project survey, in order to plan work activities. Candidate would have to interface between both office and site, both land and marine survey and should be knowledge and experience with Multibeam & Single beam Echosounder, Total Station, acquisition and processing of data and preparation of charts/report.Prepares volumes and submits daily report and charts.Hydrographer should work on daily surveys, data processing, chart preparation, volume calculation and client interface.Location: Ras Laffan, QatarWork: Full-timeProject Hours: 10 hrsPosition: Manager/Asst.
