Shifa El Shorouk Hospital is seeking a specialized Billing Accountant to join our team. You will be responsible for all aspects of the revenue cycle, from accurately preparing invoices to managing collections, ensuring smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review patient bills and hospital service invoices with high accuracy.
- Manage account balances to discover outstanding debts or other inconsistencies.
- Submit and follow up on insurance claims effectively to ensure timely collection.
- Receive payments through various methods (cash, online, etc.) and verify their credibility.
- Issue customer account statements periodically or whenever necessary.
- Answer customer inquiries and handle complaints regarding bills.
- Continuously update accounting records with new payments, balances, and customer information.
- Report on billing and accounts receivable activity to upper management.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 1-3 years of proven experience as a Billing Accountant or in a general accounting role.
- Strong expertise or full proficiency in using the "Prime Care" system (KHABEER) .
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially Excel); working knowledge of accounting software like (QuickBooks) is a plus.
- Excellent mathematical ability and strong organizational skills.
- Strict adherence to confidentiality guidelines and legal regulations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
