Job Description
1- DUTIES:
· Manage all accounting transactions.
· Prepare budget forecasts.
· Publish financial statements on time.
· Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
· Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
· Ensure timely bank payments.
· Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
· Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
· Responsible for the monthly payroll.
· Report on the Organization’s financial health and liquidity.
· Audit financial transactions and documents.
· Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
· Comply with financial policies and regulations.
Job Requirements
2- JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (Faculty of Commerce English Section) or equivalent.
Experience:
- 4 years of accounting experience in the university-industry is a must.
- Experience with general ledger functions.
Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent English command.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus.
