Job Description
- Convert active pasta importers and private label buyers from competitor manufacturers to Rosso.
- Use existing personal relationships and market reputation to open doors and close deals quickly.
- Build and manage a high-value pipeline of volume-driven importers, supermarket groups, and food trading companies.
- Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, packaging, specifications, and volumes within approved commercial frameworks.
- Drive private label manufacturing contracts for retailers and large importers.
- Secure repeat orders and long-term supply agreements from newly acquired clients.
- Deliver fast revenue growth in Africa through aggressive account acquisition.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in export sales of pasta .
- Currently working (or recently worked) with a major pasta manufacturer .
- Proven track record of closing large-volume importer and private label deals.
- Strong, active network of African importers, distributors, and supermarket buyers.
- Demonstrated ability to move accounts from one supplier to another.
- Commercially aggressive, deal-driven, and results oriented.
