Job Description
- Supervise the supply sections at coordination level: Forecast & Planning, Order Processing, Procurement, Warehouse , Transport and Customs departments.
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure that products are shipped on time and within budget
- Coordinating with vendors to obtain pricing information and place orders
- Coordinating with other sales department to ensure that orders are filled correctly and on time
- Reporting any issues with shipping procedures to management
- Supervising the daily activities of the Supply sections at coordination level and defines their level of priority. Implementing the adequate tools and procedures defined by the Supply Chain Coordinator.
- Coordinating communication lines and functional links between the Supply departments and other departments (Finance, Sales and Logistics departments).
- Ensuring good communication process and satisfactory levels with the tasks.
- Ensuring a smooth-running supply administration and the respect of the implemented supply procedures, proposing adjustments where needed.
- Conducting market assessments and benchmark analysis (including local, regional, and international sourcing options) in order to define action plans, and report market evolution/change that could influence the procurement strategy.
- Coordinate with the governmental authorities such as Nafeza, Customs, MTS, GOEIC, VET, etc..
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree .
- More than 5 years of experience in Supply Chain (International Trade).
- Has a good relations with reputable clearance and shipping lines.
- Experience as supply chain in food is a MUST
- Experience with Dry, Chilled and Frozen Food is a preferred
- Experience in local & foreign purchasing
- Updated with new legal requirements for import & export.
