Job Description

  • Ensure regulatory & internal compliance policy concepts are applied in the day-to-day job.
  • Ensure that information obtained satisfies regulatory requirements and is consistent with internal Compliance & Risk Policy and Procedures. Follow up and track all documents required to satisfy new account requirements.
  • Shall be responsible for collecting and analyzing documents related to user account opening in order to identify control persons and underlying beneficial owners.
  • Customer Identification and KYC/ KYB documentation oversight requirements. Conducting reviews of client documentation/information submitted by business units; A good understanding of Corporate Documents associated with Offshore Shell Corporations and Foreign Financial Institutions is needed.
  • Must conduct research and apply analytical skills to analyze large amounts of data to decipher high risk attributes & identify unusual patterns.
  • Managing transaction & account risk monitoring operations.
  • Conduct an annual review of the efficiency and effectiveness of the transaction monitoring process.
  • Build & implement measures, tools, techniques & processes to run the Compliance and Risk function effectively.
  • Specific projects which may rise from time to time from regulatory or organization goals.
  • To represent in front of the authorities to detail the measures in place or explanation.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ Years of relevant experience.
  • Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) Certification.
  • Lead implemented of compliance policy.
  • Hands on with KYC and KYB compliance operations.
  • Good understanding of AML, CFT and OFAC Compliance framework.
  • Working experience on FATF related STR, SAR & CTR.
  • Worked on transaction & account risk monitoring operations.
  • Shall have experience with research tools such as Dow Jones or World-Check etc.
  • Data driven & analytical in drawing inferences.
  • Good with Excel, Word. Knowing SQL would be a added advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail & ability to deal with stakeholders independently.
  • Fluent in both Arabic and English.
  • Bachelor degree.
