Business Applications Consultant (Microsoft Power Platform & CRM)

• We are looking for a highly analytical and technically strong Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst / Power BI Developer to own our reporting and analytics ecosystem. This role will be responsible for transforming raw data from multiple business systems into actionable dashboards, performance metrics, and executive-level insights.
• You will work closely with leadership, operations, finance, marketing, and technology teams to define KPIs, automate reporting, and enable data-driven decision making across the organization.
• This is a high-impact role with visibility at the executive level and direct influence on business strategy and operational performance.

Responsibilities

Data & Analytics

• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for executives and business teams
• Analyze trends in revenue, costs, operations, customer behavior, and marketing performance
• Translate business questions into data models and measurable KPIs
• Perform ad-hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives and operational decisions

Data Modeling & Engineering (Lightweight)

• Build efficient data models using Power Query, DAX, and SQL
• Integrate data from multiple sources such as:
• POS systems (e.g., Toast, Square)
• Finance systems (QuickBooks, accounting platforms)
• CRM and marketing tools
• Spreadsheets and operational databases
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization

Business Partnership

• Partner with business leaders to define metrics and reporting needs
• Proactively identify opportunities where data can improve performance
• Present insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Support investor, board, and executive reporting when needed

Governance & Automation

• Establish data quality checks and documentation
• Automate recurring reports and refresh pipelines
• Support security and role-based access in Power BI
