Job Description

1. Financial Management & Reporting

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Egyptian Accounting Standards and LinkOre financial policies.
  • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
  • Analyze financial performance against budgets and provide variance reports.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and support management in achieving financial targets.

3. Costing & Inventory Control

  • Supervise product costing, inventory valuation, and cost variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate cost allocation.
  • Implement cost control systems to improve production efficiency and profitability.

4. Tax & Compliance

  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns (VAT, WHT, payroll, income tax).
  • Maintain compliance with Egyptian financial regulations and audits.
  • Liaise with external auditors, banks, and government authorities as required.

5. ERP & Systems Management

  • Manage and optimize the use of ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo) for finance operations.
  • Ensure data accuracy and system integration across departments.
  • Train and support finance staff in ERP utilization and financial reporting tools.

6. Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop the finance and accounting team.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with factory leadership and Group Finance to align financial strategies.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA or CMA is a plus).
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Strong ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, SAP, or equivalent) is a must.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Solid understanding of Egyptian Accounting Standards and taxation laws.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, analyze data, and provide strategic insights.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • High integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to deadlines.
