Events Architect Rhino & CAD (Large Investment Group) MGM02

Objectives for this Role

The Events Architect will play a key, hands-on, collaborative role working with internal and external teams to bring briefs and ideas to life. Taking ownership of briefs from concept to completion, you will generate creative and unique ideas in line with the clients’ requirements using your skills in 2D and 3D design and production whilst working within project timeline and budgets.

Design 

• Produce hand-drawn sketches to range from product prototypes to interior perspectives 
• Propose suitable material and surface details 
• Use software's such as Rhino and CAD to produce 3D visuals as well as 2D sketches.
• Produce samples and mock-ups where required 
• Ensure the events team are kept up-to date with all creative and technical project developments.

Production

• Support the production and build of projects, from brief to idea
• Interrogate the brief with the project manager, and work collaboratively to develop the creative, scope, clarify and develop the technical design 
• Prepare and manage production timelines 
• Source suitable external suppliers such as fabricators and technicians

Financial Responsibilities

• Work within set budgetary restrictions and identify where production savings can be made 
• Input and source production costs for client quotes 
• Provide project financial reports for clients and internal use 
• Negotiate and contract third party suppliers
