Our company was established in 2012 as the first specialty coffee roasters in Egypt.  Ten years later, the company established its position in the market as an industry leader in the specialty coffee market.  The company has been highly rated by social media influencers and news sources as one of the top coffee roasting companies in Egypt.  The company retails on its own website, and also wholesales coffee beans to premium cafés and restaurants around Cairo.

 

About the Role

 

This role is the first face and voice of the company. It is fundamental that this person is able to appropriately represent the business, its principles, values, products and standards.  Therefore, a deep and thorough knowledge and understanding of the business, its products, services, processes and values is fundamental.  Complete training is provided on the job.

 

In your role you will have a full 360 degrees of hands-on B2B sales. You will be mainly on the move searching for new clients for the company.  Clients that are specific who fit within the company’s appropriate target market.  You will be driven to achieve high sales targets and constantly seek new sales opportunities.  Your role will have a combination of fixed salary and variable income depending on the sales you generate every month.  You are passionate about working with your team, humble, and eager to learn.  You work well with authority and keep your line manager informed of your movement by regular reports.

Primary Role

 

  1. Sourcing new wholesale clients and meets sales targets: including cafes, bakeries and restaurants
  2. Identifying prospects
    1. Research to establish and build a list of prospective wholesale clients who fit within the parameters of the company’s ideal wholesale clients
  3. Potential client engagement
    1. Follow through potential client and conversion to a contracted client
  4. Post sale follow up
    1. Regular follow up visits depending on the relationship and level of support needed by each particular business
    2. Refers any issues, concerns or further opportunities for management and follow up
  5. Identifies sales and marketing opportunities – for marketing team to follow up; e.g.
    1. Events at client locations
    2. Social media campaigns
  6. Reporting and record keeping
    1. Sends a regular report to your line manager regarding client visits and engagement
    2. Keeps a record of client list, their phone numbers, key contact persons, etc.

Language and Computer Skills

  1. Excellent user of computer programmes such as Excel, Word, emailing, PDF, etc
  2. Excellent English language writing, reading and comprehension.

  1. Contributes to a positive work environment and great customer service
  2. Demonstrates integrity in cash and other business transactions
  3. Takes initiative to improve own coffee knowledge
  4. Demonstrates punctuality in arriving on time and making appropriate arrangements if prevented from working.
