Senior/Technician, Mechanical Maintenance

 JOB PURPOSE:

Job holder is responsible for executing maintenance jobs on static equipment, rotary equipment, piping, structures and any other mechanical related assets.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Main responsibilities:

• Capable to perform scheduled preventative maintenance on large and complex equipments to ensure proper operating conditions of Company’s assets and adherence to international standards.
• Perform repairs on all type of equipments independently with minimal supervision.
• Report any deficiencies on complex equipments through proper communication channels and reporting. Perform time writing in SAP and work order confirmation for operations performed.
• Follow laid down procedures to undertake more advanced installations, preparatory checks/maintenance and trouble-shooting in order to ensure the availability of the plant equipment and machine.
• Responsible for maintaining 100% safety at work location.

Additional responsibilities:

• Coach less senior staff members and ensure proper know-how transfer within BOROUGE Perform the role of mentor for UAE national trainees.
• Manage multiple and bigger team of body shop contractors for complex maintenance issues.

COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal

• Works as per the instructions and plan handed out by the supervisor.
• Communicates with shift personnel, operators, services etc. for any requirement related to job.

External

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualification

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in installation, repair, testing and maintenance of a wide range equipment items of production facilities in an oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
• Thorough knowledge of HSE requirements for field & workshop maintenance jobs.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

• Good communication skills in English language.
• Good knowledge about rotary and static equipment.

Professional Certifications

• Technical Diploma after Secondary School graduate or equivalent technical qualification/experience.
