Job Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s quality management system (QMS) in accordance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Oversee all inspection, testing, and quality control processes throughout the production cycle.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, internal procedures, and customer specifications.
- Lead root cause analyses and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) initiatives to address product or process issues.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure consistent quality across all operations.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to track product quality, process efficiency, and non-conformance trends.
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and quality training sessions for staff.
- Manage documentation related to quality assurance, certifications, and compliance reports.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability, reduce waste, and optimize processes.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies on quality-related matters.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years of proven experience in quality management within the metal fabrication industry (mandatory).
- In-depth knowledge of fabrication processes, materials, and welding standards.
- Strong familiarity with ISO 9001, quality control tools, and statistical analysis methods.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and improving quality systems.
- Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, and quality management software.
