Job Description
- Facilitates the needs for facilities, equipment, furnishings, and staffing by Chief Operating Officer with concerned departments supervisors during the shift
- Conducts indirect marketing efforts through utilization of personal and business contacts in different community organizations
- Work closely with hospital’s key officers such as Chief Medical Operating Officer, P. C. Director, Department Heads, and Nursing Director for daily activities
- Creates a favorable organizational climate within the hospital organization
- Resolves conflicts (may refer issue to the Chief Operating Officer, if cannot be resolve within his jurisdiction, in which case the decision of the Chief of Medical Operations and Chief Operating Officer shall prevail and be respected)
- Coordinates short and long term plans necessary to run the hospital during night shifts and on holidays upon approval by the higher Management and directs its implementation
- Promotes employees’ morale booster and job satisfaction
- Supervises all hospital-wide activities by conducting ocular inspections (or making rounds) and receiving endorsements or regular reports from various department Supervisors on duty
- Carries our medical directives necessary to run the work smoothly for staff working during non-regular office hours
- Collaborate with Chief of Medical Operations and Chief Operating Officer in establishing new or modification of policies and procedures in the objective of improving the system with preference to work scope/coverage
- Monitors hospital-wide activities ensuring high quality services, correction of errors and avoiding repetition of the same medical and non-medical mistakes
- Utilizes effectively all the resources such as manpower, finance, materials, physical facilities and space to ensure efficient results, well balanced work and safety environment
Job Requirements
- BCs. Degree in medicine
- MBA or Hospital Management Diploma is a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle critical situations.
