Group IT Director

1. IT Strategy and Executive Leadership

• Develop and execute the organization’s overall IT strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.

• Advise the CEO and senior management on technology investments, digital transformation, emerging trends, and technology-related risks.

• Establish IT governance frameworks, enterprise architecture standards, technology policies, and strategic roadmaps.

• Lead group-wide technology initiatives and ensure alignment across business units and geographical locations.

2. Infrastructure and IT Operations

• Oversee enterprise infrastructure, networks, cloud environments, connectivity, and end-user technology services.

• Ensure the availability, scalability, performance, and resilience of critical technology systems.

• Establish effective IT service management, business continuity, backup, and disaster recovery arrangements.

3. Cybersecurity and Information Governance

• Lead the organization’s cybersecurity and information security strategy.

• Oversee security architecture, identity and access management, vulnerability management, incident response, and risk mitigation.

• Ensure appropriate protection of corporate information, digital assets, and business-critical systems.

4. Enterprise Applications and Software Development

•   Direct the implementation, integration, and optimization of enterprise applications and business information systems.

• Oversee software development strategy, application architecture, quality assurance, and application lifecycle management.

• Promote effective integration between business systems to improve operational efficiency, data consistency, and management visibility.

5. Digital Transformation and Emerging Technologies

• Identify and implement opportunities involving artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, automation, advanced analytics, and modern digital platforms.

• Develop technology initiatives that enhance productivity, streamline processes, improve decision-making, and support business growth.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and lead innovation initiatives based on business value, feasibility, security, and measurable outcomes.

6. Data, Governance, and Financial Management

• Establish effective data governance, business intelligence, reporting, and analytics capabilities.

• Develop and manage IT budgets, technology investments, procurement strategies, vendor relationships, and service-level agreements.

• Ensure cost-effective technology delivery, appropriate risk management, and compliance with applicable policies and regulatory requirements.

7. Leadership and Organizational Development

• Build and lead a high-performing IT organization with the capabilities required to support complex, multi-location operations.

• Develop talent, strengthen technical and managerial competencies, and establish performance management frameworks.

• ·Foster collaboration between IT teams, business leaders, and other corporate functions.
