Job Description
- ITGoals is looking for SAP Senior Basis Consultant to work remotely with our KSA-based client on long term projects.
Responsibilities:
- SAP Basis administration and support, technical support, transport management, batch management and production support for SAP environment
- Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting and refresh to ensure stability, recoverability of the SAP and related systems
- Definition, planning and implementation of system operations - System Refresh, Solution Monitoring and HA/DR solution
- • Perform root-cause-analysis, as well as performance management and optimization of SAP Systems
- Tight integration with PMO and Delivery teams for early risk migration and project delivery
- Proactively analyze SAP environment to detect deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures relating to information systems. Maintain technical infrastructure reference documents such as technical architecture, interface references, hardware, and software assets
- Management of SAP in FDA regulated, and Sarbanes-Oxley controlled environment Design integration solution, build, perform test end-to-end integration of various technology implementations.
- Determine detailed system integration requirements based on business requirements provided by the Operations groups.
- Provides technical expertise and solutions related to integration of SAP and other legacy applications.
- Test end-to-end integration solutions and deploy.
Job Requirements
• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business is required
• SAP OS/DB Migration and HANA Certification
• Strong technical skills in implementation and support of SAP system in a Windows/Unix/Oracle environment
• Extremely important to have skills on translating requirements to hardware requirements and suggest a timeline for the successful installation of hardware, SAP software and configuration of the system
• Excellent technical understanding of SAP with a minimum of 10 years' experience in BASIS consulting
• Willingness to work in a complex and challenging project environment with aggressive timelines
• Experience with data center migration of SAP
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, both independently and as a team member
• Must be flexible with work hours to be able to support system maintenance and other off hour activities
• Experience working in a regulated environment (SOX, FDA, etc.) and adhering to compliance controls
