Job title: HR Specialist
Description
Job Summary:
The HR Specialist will provide Human Resource service by promoting HR functions to include but not limited to employee relations, organization development, training, compliance, and project support. Contributes to or influences process improvements and/or functional strategy.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Initiating / improving HR initiatives, projects, and priorities
- Provide support for employee relations and organization development needs and actions
- Provide ad-hoc HR reports and initial analysis on an “as needed” basis
- Support managers with general HR inquiries regarding policies and practices
- Collaborate with management team to create and provide documentation on disciplinary and performance-based actions
- Respond to rehire eligibility inquiries
- Assist with the tracking of initiatives such as performance evaluation.
- Provide HR project support such as scheduling, communications, and presentations.
- Assist in training of new employees.
- May be assigned other duties aligning with our organization’s core values.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in an HR benefits or related role and demonstrated success/knowledge
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office applications, including word and excel
- English proficiency would be a plus.
Desired Characteristics:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
