Job Description

You will be reporting to the CFO. The overall purpose of this role is to manage all aspects of accounting. The role will be in charge of implementing accounting policies, procedures and tax filing.

  • Direct the day-to-day actions of the entire accounting department
  • Enforce the correct accounting policies, methods and principles
  • Complete annual audits to ensure accuracy
  • Meet financial objectives through collaboration and delegation
  • Streamline Systems and processes and initiate corrective actions when necessary
  • Create and Sustain fiscal records and other files to document transactions accurately
  • Oversee the Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial progress reports for the department;
  • Oversee the preparation of reports required by regulatory authorities;
  • Ensure internal Checks are carried out to ensure effective and efficient accounting practices;
  • Supervises the completion of tax reporting requirements (including income, property, payroll and other local taxes), insurance reports and other reports required by government regulation.
  • Ensures that The computer system continues to operate as required. Involved in Validating/designing suggested changes to ensure accounting requirements Continue to be met.
  • Ensures that The accounting department is staffed with qualified financial personnel. capable of meeting the objectives and responsibilities, noted above. Responsible for continued development of these associates.

Job Requirements

  • Certified Public Accountant License.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Accounting).
  • Previous managerial role.
  • At least ten (10) cumulative years’ experience in a comparable position from a reputable organizatio
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle or Odoo).
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple and conflicting priorities, and work under strict deadlines.
  • Have strong analytical and be result-oriented.
  • High standards of integrity and ethical practice.
  • Capable of functioning effectively both as a team player and a team leader.
  • Strong knowledge of Egyptian Accounting Standards, internal controls and financial reporting.
  • Attention to detail and organization.
