Junior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

As a software test engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating software functions and designing test scenarios to ensure that products work as intended. You will also be responsible for no-functional testing and completing all testing procedures, suggesting performance changes, and preparing performance and summary reports for the development managers.

You should have advanced knowledge of SDLC, STLC, have a good eye for detail, and excellent communication skills. You should be able to identify the smallest flaw in software designs and suggest simple yet effective fixes.

Software Test Engineer Responsibilities:

• Meet with the development team to discuss software specifications.
• Using the software as intended to analyze it’s functional and properties.
• Designing manual test scenarios to evaluate each software product features.
• Detect software failures and follow up the defects and the fixes with the development team.
• Develop and document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications.
• Record and Document results and compare to expected results.
• Identify any potential quality issues immediately to management.
• Participate in application planning meetings.
• Presenting test reports to management and suggesting software fixes.
• Helping on managing and leading the quality team in terms of assign, monitoring and control tasks.
