Job Description

  • Design all quotes for new and existing vendors and recommend improvements to all delivery and process all purchase order requests and monitor all change orders for all ERP procedures.
  • Maintain regular visits to all vendors and facilitate in all supplier audits and provide support to all customer requirements and perform all vendor risk assessment and maintain relationships with all suppliers.
  • Monitor all purchase orders and maintain regular follow up with all suppliers and customers and coordinate with vendors and place requests for all prices and monitor all bidding activities and recommend an efficient source for corporate staff.
  • Oversee all purchase requests and evaluate all inventory and specifications and maintain stock of all equipment and prepare all contract billing.
  • Responsible for buying required materials from foreign suppliers with the lowest “cost” within the required lead time.
  • Communicating internally with demand departments and understanding their requirements.
  • Search and contact suppliers, negotiate prices, terms, conditions, and delivery date for technically approved items to get the best offer according to the required specification with best conditions to optimize the cost.
  • Managing payment process with finance department and banks to have transfers swift including reviewing LC’s drafts.
  • Following up the production phase with suppliers to make sure of delivering the cargo within agreed lead time.
  • Choosing the best freight forwarder based on historical performance and freight rates.
  • Reviewing shipments documents to have the proper stamping with the final copies.
  • Following up clearance phase with a nominated broker to release the cargo and deliver it to warehouse.
  • Data Analysis and report generation is an integral part of the job.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as Local and Foreign purchasing  (Manufacturing sector is preferred).
  • Good with ERB system.
  • Very good command of English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
