Job Description
- Researching and identifying prospective suppliers.
- Evaluating products and suppliers according to key business criteria.
- Preparing proposals, requesting quotes, and negotiating purchase terms and conditions.
- Preparing and issuing purchase orders and agreements.
- Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues and concerns.
- Inspecting and evaluating the quality of purchased items and resolving shortcomings.
- Analyzing industry and demand trends and supporting senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
- Preparing reports and maintaining accurate inventory and procurement records.
- Complying with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Negotiate terms with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, deadlines, expectations, etc.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding updates and details of goods.
- Analyze invoices to ensure accuracy of goods delivered.
- Coordinate with Quality Dept. for all required documents and inspection .
- Monitor inventory to ensure the flow of goods remains positive.
- Record submitted Offers at ERP system to be revised by the requested department and to select a specific vendor.
- Create purchase orders based on the required specifications and the selected vendor.
- Liaising with delivery and warehouse teams to ensure goods are received on time.
- Purchasing all company needs either in the internal use for the company or for the department external selling like (network equipment’s or other services we provide customer the Company portfolio).
Job Requirements
- Good command of English language.
- Good communication skills
- Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies.
- required from 2 to 4 years of FMCG experience
