Job Description
Location: Office based, Nasr City, Cairo. (1 day/week home office working is available
after completion of 1 year seniority)
Position Overview
Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by compiling information, managing all Account Payables and utilizing appropriate accounting control procedures.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Monitor and manage full Accounts Payable cycle (matching, vouching and GL
coding) - Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
- Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
- Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies by monitoring daily vendor transactions
- Interact and support external/internal audits
- Document financial transactions by entering account information.
- Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Prepare special financial reports weekly and monthly by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Develop, implement, modify, and document record keeping and accounting systems. - Support activities for monthly closing
- Support to analyze and review budgets and expenditures for local and HQ
analysis.
Job Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Educational Background
- B.Sc. in Accounting from a reputable university
- Advanced level of English both written and oral is a must
- Good level of knowledge for MS Office applications is a must.
- Knowledge of MS Axapta is plus
Job-Related Skills
- Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles
- Knowledge of economic principles
- Knowledge of auditing practices and principles
- knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control
- Principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports,
