Job Description
- Review, develop the baseline schedule/recovery (if needed) and assign the project resources in details as well as the costs & Cash flow.
- Integrate the different discipline of the project in the schedule to meet each discipline’s requirements and constraints.
- Issue daily/weekly/monthly report for all the monitoring and controlling site progress to be sent to the Projects Control Manager and the consultant as well.
- Develop resource histogram, and perform resource leveling to meet the availability of resources.
- Share and coordinate the updates regarding the schedules and it outputs with the cost engineers to ensure that the prepared KPIs are reflecting the actual site status.
- Update the Project’s schedule and monitor the project progress to verify that the updated schedule complies with the approved baseline schedule and highlight critical issues and area of concern and provide analysis to the project manager and management staff.
- Monitor and controlling procurement and engineering progress schedule.
- Monitor and controlling subcontractors’ progress
- Prepare close out report in coordination with the project team to be a reference for the company for the coming projects “lesson learned”.
- Propose the recommended recovery plans to complete the project schedule to ensure that critical issues and assumptions are covered.
- Analyze Variation Orders and estimate its time impact on the project.
- Cooperate and coordinate with the projects’ site team members and Projects control Manager in Developing and analyzing extension of time and cost claims.
- Attend the weekly progress meetings at the different sites with the client and consultant to get all the needed updates regarding the project schedule performance and corrective actions needed.
- Ensure that the sub-contractors performance is on track with the projects’ time frame or milestones.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, (Civil / Architecture) Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience of using Primavera (P6)
- 3+ Years of experience
- Proven work experience as a Demand Planner or a similar role
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Demand Planner
