Job Description
- Issue and review shipping documents in accordance to policies and regulations.
- Follow up and lead shipping process and progress to ensure delivery to warehouse on time.
- Collaborate and analyze warehouses’ plans for operational efficiency.
- Manage and follow up invoicing and recordkeeping.
- Monitor cargo movement processes.
- Establish and manage tracking systems to maintain customer satisfaction and a best-in-class service.
- Coordinate with sales team and product line managers, establish and maintain maximum and minimum stock levels in the warehouse.
- Daily follow-up with the different concerned internal departments in order to ensure achieving the projects monthly plan.
- Close communication with the customer and ensure the actual demand is adhering to the forecasted volumes.
- Verify all freight invoices.
- Follow up with different internal departments (Finance, production, Logistics, Warehouse. etc.) to ensure the customer demand is fulfilled on time/in full.
- Daily follow-up and update for all the shipments and the delivery schedules.
- Coordinating and communicating shipment delivery requirements with freight forwarders
- Check export documents after loading to ensure it conforms to export countries’ regulations as well as local regulations.
- Maintain letters and correspondence.
- Update account information and complete accurate documentation.
- Ensuring the integrity of import / export documentation such as Bills.
- Handling Import and Export daily operations.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Freight Forwarding Companies
- An awareness of logistics management techniques and local & international logistics regulations would be advantageous, such as provided by a Certification/Diploma in Logistics Management.
- Leadership skills to introduce new processes and ways of working within the organization.
- Experience in facilitating, coaching, and motivating multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to influence others at all levels of the organization to drive change and achieve results.
- Good knowledge of spreadsheet software and MS Office suite Word Processing software SAP.
- Excellent command of English language.
