Job Description
Experienced Merchandiser in Textile Factories is required for A Textile Co in Amreya Free Zone - Alexandria
- Study and understanding the technical file for all required trims and materials.
- Organizing trim / raw materials for the initial samples – in this case similar or close to the required material
- Handover the sampling program to the sample room keeping in loop the quality department.
- Follow up with the buyer for sample approval / confirmation and eventually placement of the order in the same.
- Prepare a tentative cost sheet for all materials used, and submit to the purchase department
- sample mini marker to be arranged with the pattern maker prior the order arrival.
- Coordinate with sales, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and proper placement of products.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock audits, and recommend replenishment actions to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Analyze sales trends and customer preferences to adjust merchandising plans and maximize revenue
- Preparing the bill of material (BOM) and issuing it to the planning department and costs implacable to the finance.
- Daily output follow up with the planning team
- Keeping a tab on accessories used as per the BOM
- Take quality reports regularly from QA manager, check mid production quality reports.
- Arrange and send Production Samples as per buyer requirement.
- Payment follows up - In accordance to the confirmed purchase order and proforma invoice.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree.
- Experienced in Textile factories is a Must.
- A highly qualified person is required.
- Minimum career experience of 5 years and over.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful merchandising strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
