Job Description
- Taking Middle Eastern brands to the globe , and also bringing in global brands to the Middle East. Also helping retailers and distributors source their private label.
- Will be responsible for managing the sourcing of Food finished goods , for our clients (retailers and distributors) that require private label and uses our scale with different clients to get best prices from global suppliers.
- Additionally, the role involves overseeing export operations, where our aim is to take local brands from fmcg food clients of ours and help them export , which means finding distributors for them across our network or countries or traders.
- This should be done with compliance with international trade regulations, and driving global sales growth in new and existing markets.
1. Strategic Sourcing:
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with the company’s goals and market demands.
• Identify and build relationships with reliable suppliers to secure high-quality materials at competitive prices.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to optimize costs and ensure supply stability.
• Evaluate supplier performance and enforce quality standards.
2. Export Operations:
• Manage relationships between fmcg clients and distributors in target companies , and directing team . Should be aware of end-to-end export processes, including documentation, shipping, and customs clearance, which is lead by team .
• Develop and expand the company’s international footprint by identifying and entering new markets.
• Ensure compliance with global trade regulations, tariffs, and country-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with logistics providers to optimize transportation costs and lead times.
3. Team Leadership and Collaboration:
• Lead and mentor teams across sourcing, procurement, and export functions.
• Work closely with clients to ensure we leverage their existing winning models and team , so that it connects with ours.
• Act as a liaison between suppliers, distributors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
4. Cost Management and Optimization:
• Continuously analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities in sourcing and exports.
• Develop and monitor the sourcing and export budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
Job Requirements
Educational Background:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
Professional Experience:
• 10-15 years of experience in export and/or sourcing, in the FMCG sector.
• Proven track record of managing supplier relationships and international trade operations.
Core Competencies:
• High integrity with highest values .
