Job Summary
The Digital Manufacturing Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Siemens Digital Industries Software solutions, primarily Teamcenter and Opcenter, to enable customers' digital manufacturing transformation. The role works closely with engineering, production, quality, and IT teams to analyze manufacturing processes, design digital solutions, lead implementation activities, and ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Consulting
Analyze manufacturing and engineering business processes.
Conduct customer workshops and process assessments.
Identify digital transformation opportunities.
Recommend industry best practices.
Prepare functional solution designs.
Teamcenter Implementation
Configure Teamcenter according to customer requirements.
Support data migration and system integration.
Configure workflows and business rules.
Conduct functional testing and validation.
Support production deployment and Go-Live.
Opcenter (MES) Consulting
Implement Siemens Opcenter solutions.
Configure manufacturing execution processes.
Support production scheduling and execution.
Integrate shop-floor equipment where applicable.
Optimize manufacturing workflows.
Customer Engagement
Act as the primary functional consultant.
Facilitate design workshops.
Prepare customer documentation.
Deliver administrator and end-user training.
Provide post-Go-Live support.
Continuous Improvement
Recommend process optimization opportunities.
Identify additional solution opportunities.
Maintain implementation standards.
Share lessons learned with the consulting team.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Automation Engineering,, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
Around one year of experience implementing manufacturing software solutions.
