We have an opportunity for HSE Engineer to join Honeywell Building Automation Team for Red Sea Airport Project on fixed term contract.
Responsibilities
- Develop, Plan and Review procedures & specifications as per site requirement to make sure they meet safety requirements
- Identify and correct potential hazards by inspecting facilities, site, and safety equipment
- Handle safety assessments and deploy corrective measures to minimize hazard risk profile.
- Drive behaviors preventing illnesses in workplace by engaging management commitment.
- Develop a culture to anticipate and prevent health hazardous conditions
- Support HSE inspections, audits, and self-assessments.
- Manage reports and present summaries to management with suggested solutions.
- Execute environmental management processes such as chemicals and waste management and pollution prevention.
- Handle industrial hygiene, equipment protection, driving safety, machine guarding and other health and safety programs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of Safety mechanisms and to achieve health and safety management excellence
- Develop and execute site specific training plans and on job trainings
- Review employee safety programs and recommend improvements
- Maintain and apply knowledge of current policies, regulations, and industrial processes
Qualification
- Engineering degree
- An ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of work experience on contracts administration with NEBOSH
- Fluent in English and advanced skills in Microsoft office packages
- Relevant certifications- NEBOSH, IOSH.
