Job Description
- Oversee and manage daily site operations to ensure construction activities are executed according to project plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements on-site.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess quality of workmanship and compliance with design specifications.
- Prepare and maintain detailed site reports, documentation, and records of construction activities.
- Resolve technical issues and provide guidance to junior engineers and site staff.
- Liaise with project managers to communicate site status, challenges, and resource needs.
- Manage site logistics, including equipment allocation and workforce scheduling.
- Support the implementation of cost control measures and optimize resource utilization.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in site engineering within the construction industry.
- Proven track record of managing construction projects from inception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory standards.
- Excellent leadership and team coordination skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
