Operate and monitor food processing and packaging machines to ensure smooth production flow.

Adjust machine settings (speed, pressure, temperature) according to product specifications.

Monitor sensors, temperature controllers, and PLC systems for stable performance.

Ensure daily cleaning and sanitization of machines (CIP – Cleaning in Place).

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment.

Diagnose and repair mechanical issues such as bearing failures, belt misalignments, and valve leaks.

Replace worn-out components and maintain spare parts inventory.

Record maintenance activities and downtime reports in CMMS or maintenance logs.

Analyze recurring breakdowns and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to prevent reoccurrence.

Suggest and implement machine design improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Participate in new equipment installation, commissioning, and performance testing.

Optimize energy consumption and machine utilization across production lines.

Ensure all equipment complies with HACCP, ISO 22000, and other food safety standards.

Use food-grade lubricants and materials in maintenance tasks.

Support quality audits by providing maintenance records and hygiene documentation.

Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) during all operations.

Supervise and train technicians and operators on proper machine handling.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
4-6 years of experience in machine engineering within the food manufacturing industry.
Proven expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting food processing equipment.
Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to work onsite in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Flexibility to work full-time, under permanent employment, and in a leadership capacity.
