Job Description

Overview:

The Functional Support Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of functional support specialists in providing end-user support for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Sales Force Automation (SFA), and other related systems to ensure the smooth operation of these systems and maximize their utilization by end-users. Is responsible for delivering business process and application services which include process design, application configuration, testing, training on Infor software, technologies, and tools in accordance with standard implementation methods. is also responsible for developing ongoing, successful business relationships inside and outside the company and for providing "industry best practice" recommendations.

Participate in full life cycle facing implementation projects relating to Infor applications, working as part of an Infor Project team. Lead the information gathering and design process for the implementation, including the development of functional business requirements and solution scope documents. Configure a business solution. Develop and execute test plans and test software configurations. Provide training to key and end users. Provide implementation consultancy and application best practice advice for Infor LN and else ERP modules. Achieve engagement objectives. Provide regular internal reports on the status of projects. Attend product functionality briefings and training sessions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Leads functional support for ERP Financial modules (General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets).
  • Leads functional support for ERP Supply Chain and sales CRM and POS modules.
  • Leads functional support for ERP production and quality modules (Manufacturing, Planning, and Quality).
  • Leads function support for the sales force implemented application to more than 55 distributors across the republic.
  • Works with end-users to analyze, design, construct, and implement support of regular business operations and provides cross-functional training as needed. Works with end users on all functional modules to document business needs/requirements for upgrades and enhancements.
  • Organize and lead pursuit teams and participate in and lead aspects of the proposal development process.
  • Lead and manage a team of support specialists, providing guidance, motivation, and coaching.
  • Ensure timely and accurate resolution of user issues and inquiries related to the assigned systems.
  • Analyze trends in support tickets to identify areas for improvement in system functionality, user training, or documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest features, functionalities, and updates for the supported systems.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to other team members and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge bases and user documentation for the supported systems.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users on the effective use of ERP, SFA, and SCADA systems.
  • Monitor system performance and identify potential issues proactively.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • A successful candidate will have experience either as ERP Consultant at a software / IT services & consulting firm or as a Key User / IT Project Lead in the manufacturing and/or FMCG industry.
  • At least 5 years of directly related work experience (ERP LN System and Industry).
  • Product knowledge, preferable of Infor LN. 
  • ERP Infor LN, IOS experience is a must 
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in ERP support or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP system functionalities and configuration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
