IVEC Contracting is a leading construction company in Cairo, Egypt, with over 33 years of experience.
We specialize in residential, commercial, administrative, and service construction, as well as maintenance and development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and execute all electrical works on-site according to project drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Review electrical shop drawings, material submittals, and ensure compliance with client requirements.
Coordinate with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, architectural) to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth project progress.
Monitor and inspect electrical installations such as power systems, lighting, low-current systems, and panels.
Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and update project management on work status.
Ensure all electrical works comply with safety regulations and company standards.
Provide technical support and solutions for any site-related electrical issues.
Verify quantities of electrical materials and monitor usage to control cost and avoid waste.
Supervise subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and execution.
Participate in testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 3–7 years of experience in site electrical works within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of electrical drawings, standards, and codes.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (ERP systems such as Odoo is a plus).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent coordination and communication skills.
Good command of the English language (written and spoken).
