Job Description
- Managing correspondence with suppliers and departments initiating requests.
- Contacting suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries, and to resolve missed or delayed deliveries, as well as other issues.
- Coordinating shipping methods with suppliers for our orders, including normal air freight, sea freight, or express service.
- Tracking all shipments with forwarders and shipping lines.
- Managing all important documents related to finance, such as advanced shipping notices, pick slips, bills of lading, etc.
- Following up on customs clearance processes in case of any issues.
- Monitoring clearance procedures with our forwarder.
- Performing various other duties as requested.
Job Requirements
- Experience in import/export operations would be preferable.
- Financial background would be preferable
