Job Description
Operations Coordinator duties and responsibilities
- Facilitating cross-channel feedback from customers and employees to management and executive teams
- Working in the field of Delivery Services & freight with team leaders, managers and department heads to learn departmental needs and goals.
- Ensuring that all activities conform to local, industry and company standards
- Observing, reviewing and analyzing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas where improvements could be made
- Identifying and resolving any problems in the production process
- Designing and maintaining clear operational guides to ensure consistency of operations
- Delivering reports to department heads, management teams and boards of directors to provide insight into the overall efficiency of the organization
- Collaborating with management and executives to set departmental and organization-wide goals
- Monitor, control and manage business operations to meet customer expectations and company goals.
- Evaluate current operational performance and provide strategic plan for improvements.
- Provide direction and guidance to internal teams to achieve performance targets.
- Identify problems in operations process and resolve them in quickly and timely manner.
- Follow standard operating procedures for efficient business operations.
- Maintain clear and accurate operations documents/procedures for reference purposes.
Job Requirements
- Good time management, prioritization and multitasking abilities
- Experience in Delivery Services & freight is a must
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues
- Effective communication, including speaking, writing and active listening
- Great strategic planning and problem-solving skills
- University/College degree is a must.
- Strong project management skills
- Collaboration and teamwork skills
- Leadership skills, like motivation, goal-setting and monitoring progress
- Comfortable in a high-pressure environment,Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer Oriented (Word – Excel – outlook)
- Demonstrated outstanding customer service skills
