We are hiring for a major software development project serving one of our major US-based clients a SQL Server Developer with the following responsibilities: & skill sets:
Responsibilities:
- Best practices implementation knowledge while dealing with RDBMS
- Diagnose and resolve database access and performance issues
- Optimize large complicated SQL statements / Stored Procedures / Views / Dynamic SQL
- Plan and coordinate data migrations between systems
- Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to databases
- Ensure database systems meet business and performance requirements
- SQL performance tuning - Ability to understand execution paths and optimizing them
- SQL Analytic Functions - Ability to summarize the data and give the view at different granularity
- Procedural SQL - Ability to write/debug complex business logic
- Transaction design on OLTP systems - Ability to design optimal transaction
- Exception / Error handling
Job Requirements
The candidate must have experience/knowledge with the following:
- Proficient with MS SQL. Hands-On experience on RDBMS
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git / SVN
- Development and maintenance of the all T-SQL objects for applications
- Dynamic SQL - ability to frame SQLs with some unknown factors
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent problem solving and self-learning skills
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Accessibility and security compliance as per the customer requirement
