Job Description
- Review and verify all drawings and calculations received from designers for various types of projects.
- Review and make a recommendation of all Shop Drawings and quantities for accuracy.
- Coordinate between the MEP and Architecture drawings.
- Acknowledge and have experience to issue technical reports.
- Verify and evaluate value engineering issued by the main contractor.
- Sites visit to address design related issues. (if needed)
- Cross check VO.
- Reviewing all reports on work progress with respect to project schedules and resources.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a Structural Engineer or similar field
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods and regulations
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD
- Data-driven mindset with excellent mathematical skills
- Good communication ability (both written and verbal)
- Attention to detail
- Member of the Institute of Structural Engineering
