Job Description
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine performance or product quality.
- Maintain accurate production records and document any deviations or issues encountered during operations.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
- Experience with routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Effective communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with team members.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
- Willingness to work in an on-site (onsite) environment.
