Job Description
- Use the software to create a BIM project in accordance with their areas of expertise. (architectural, structural, plant design, environmental and infrastructural).
- Have a deep understanding and make use of the technical and operative documentation to produce the composition and models (standard and procedures).
- The BIM Specialist has the role of ‘designer of information’ for graphic design and non-graphic; and he carries out the following activities.
- He can work under the supervision and coordination of the BIM Coordinator or of the BIM Manager of the enterprise or planning team.
- He elaborates the graphic models the objects that are correlated to.
- He extracts the data from the models and from the elaboration as well as from the objects.
- He carries out the editing of the model and of the objects that have been defined consequently from the result of the coordination procedures.
- Develop, update, implement and maintain the BIM Workflow, protocols, and standards.
- Provide support in the BIM adoption guidelines and the required toolset and workflows.
- Provide recommendation for the model division strategy.
- Offer technical advice in developing the BEP.
- Supervise files setup and linking processes.
- Provide technical support for the design team.
- Support in preparing federated model in 3D coordination software and run clashes.
- Overlook the BIM Submissions and define any related procedures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or electrical section.
- Work experience in BIM technology support role, including production and coordination, best practices, and workflow.
- A proficiency & very good knowledge in using BIM authoring tools (Revit, CAD & Revit family creation)
- Very good Skills in Navisworks Manage to federate, coordinate, clash detect and produce reports.
- The ability to use simulation tools, aligned with project schedules/programmed to produce 4D simulations such as Synchro 4D or Navisworks.
- Dynamo skills / BIM 360 / Civil 3D experience is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Good communication skills for the team-based working environment.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges.
- Arabic & English is a must, French is a plus.
