Senior Procurement Engineer

Job Statement:

Required Senior Procurement Engineer for Powerline industries who is needed to purchase materials according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms.  Ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and execute the assigned activities based on standard procedures.

Job Scope:

• Initiates purchase orders (PO) in the system, according to the received requisitions in alignment with standard procedures.
• Follows up and confirms delivery with suppliers, monitors and tracks supplier performance Plus resolving the performance issues.
• Supports the development and implementation of sourcing strategies with main suppliers in close alignment with the procurement manager.
• Negotiates agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews pricelists, terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with proposal and project teams to determine necessary items for procurement during the project and develop schedules, estimates and forecasts for submission to the main suppliers. 
• Identifies new suppliers in cooperation with the procurement manager and qualifies new suppliers in cooperation with quality and engineering specialists.
• Coordinates directly with both engineering and project management teams to verify received inquires and specifications for the requested items
• Supports Sales and proposals teams by providing relevant market information and prices along with the current status of inventory.
