Job Description:
We are looking for a PHP WordPress Developer responsible for developing all server-side logic, maintaining databases, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and building the website front-end.
- Drive best practices and engineering excellence.
- Work with other team members to develop the architecture and design of new and current systems.
- Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
- Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
- Conducting website performance tests.
- Creating the website architecture.
- Troubleshooting content issues.
- Monitoring the performance of the live website.
- Drive best practices and engineering excellence.
- Work with other team members to develop the architecture and design of new and current systems.
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field.
- Must have a strong knowledge of WordPress
- Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming.
- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, and HTML5.
- Previous experience creating scalable applications.
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Proficient with code versioning tools including Git.
- Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP
- Understanding of MVC design patterns.
- Nice to have a knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel, Magento, or Yii
