Job Description
We are looking for a Store Keeper who is ready to join immediately and is willing to work on agricultural sites located in Sharq Al Owaynat, New Valley as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Organize and maintain inventory in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of required materials.
- Issue materials and equipment to internal departments based on approved requests and documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs and/or inventory management systems.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with recorded data.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of sensitive or high-value items.
- Prepare and submit inventory reports, stock movement logs, and other documentation as required.
- Implement and enforce safety, security, and cleanliness standards within the store or warehouse area.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce or any relevant field.
- 2-7 years of proven experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or warehouse management.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer applications (e.g., MS Excel).
- Previous experience in ERP is preferred.
- Flexibility to work on projects located on remote sites..
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in handling inventory and documentation.
