Job Description
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for engineering and construction materials, equipment, and services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and optimal pricing.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to maximize value and minimize risk.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and compliance with company standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to determine procurement needs and specifications.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast future requirements to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Resolve any issues related to delivery delays, quality discrepancies, or invoice disputes.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory, HSE, and sustainability standards.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve procurement processes and drive cost savings.
- Purchase goods or services that meet the quantity and quality expectations of the organization
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1 – 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions.
