Job Description

Responsibilities 

  1. Develop and implement HSE plans for all projects, adhering to legal guidelines and international standards (e.g., ISO 45001).
  2. Establish and enforce company-wide safety policies to cultivate a strong safety culture.
  3. Responsible for implementing the requirements of the Safety Management System concerning ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.
  4. Investigated incidents to determine root causes and recommended solutions to prevent future occurrences.
  5. Understanding and ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and guidelines set by national and local authorities.
  6. Conducting safety audits and inspections to identify and address any potential hazards or non-compliance issues.
  7. Reporting safety violations and accidents to relevant authorities as required.
  8. Conducting regular risk assessments of all activities and processes on the site, identifying potential hazards and their severity.
  9. Implementing effective control measures to minimize risks, such as using personal protective equipment (PPE), establishing exclusion zones, and providing adequate training.
  10. Staying updated on emerging safety concerns and implementing necessary protocols to address them.
  11. Developing and delivering safety training programs for all workers on-site, ensuring they understand safe work practices and emergency procedures.
  12. Conducting inductions for new workers, familiarizing them with the site's specific safety rules and protocols.
  13. Providing ongoing safety awareness campaigns and toolbox talks to reinforce safe behaviors and address identified areas of concern.
  14. Maintaining safety records and documentation.
  15. Conduct regular site inspections.
  16. Ensure the implementation of PTW system.

Job Requirements

 

  • Certificates:
  1. A Bachelor's degree in engineering or science is preferred
  2. ISO 45001 Lead auditor
  3. NEBOSH IGC
  4. OSHA General and construction
  5. Basic safety courses (Firefighting and first aid, working at height,….etc)
  • Skills
  1. Good communication skills
  2. Good presentation skills 
  3. Proficient in English language
  4. Good at using MS Excel and PPT
