Job Description
• Lead the Utilities team to ensure uninterrupted supply of all site utilities in compliance with GMP, safety, and environmental standards.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for utility systems.
• Monitor system performance and optimize energy usage to achieve cost efficiency.
• Ensure qualification, validation, and calibration of utility systems as per regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, and Engineering departments to support manufacturing needs.
• Manage utility projects including design, installation, commissioning, and start-up of new equipment.
• Prepare and manage the utilities budget, including spare parts and maintenance costs.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and corporate policies.
• Lead, train, and develop the Utilities team to enhance technical skills and operational excellence.
• Support audits and inspections by regulatory authorities and clients.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or related field).
• Minimum 5–9 years of experience in utilities management within a pharmaceutical or GMP manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of utility systems (HVAC, purified water, WFI, steam, air compressors, boilers).
• Experience in preventive maintenance planning and energy management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of GMP, safety, and environmental regulations.
