Job Description
- Lead the development of new products and oversee the improvement of existing product lines.
- Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to plan, establish, and implement new projects, processes, and SOPs.
- Supervise the evaluation of ingredients, benefits, costing, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Approve and monitor the development of raw materials and packaging material specifications.
- Manage and conduct shelf-life studies to ensure product quality, safety, and stability.
- Direct and oversee formulation and ingredient development for Dairy, Bakery, and Flavors & Fragrances (F&F) products.
- Provide strategic direction for innovation to meet market trends and customer needs.
- Build and lead a high-performing R&D team, ensuring continuous training and development.
- Collaborate with other departments (Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sales) to ensure smooth product launches.
- Monitor overall R&D performance, ensuring efficiency, cost optimization, and timely delivery of projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture (Dairy Science or FMCG background).
- Postgraduate studies are preferred (MBA or related field is an advantage).
- Alexandria residency is a must.
- Proven managerial experience in R&D, product development, or food technology.
- Strong knowledge of food safety principles (mandatory).
- Experience in scientific internet research.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Excellent presentation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to innovate and transform ideas into market-ready products.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and guide teams.
- Proficiency in computer applications and R&D-related systems.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements
