Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled backend Python developer who will be responsible for developing the server-side of our multiplayer game. You will be working with a team of developers to design, build, and maintain the backend infrastructure of our game using FastAPI and socket programming, as well as collaborating with Unity developers to ensure seamless integration between the frontend and backend of the game.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop the server-side of our multiplayer game using Python, FastAPI, and socket programming.
- Collaborate with Unity developers to ensure seamless integration between the frontend and backend of the game.
- Develop real-time communication protocols and RESTful APIs to support game features and functionality.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Optimize server-side performance to ensure smooth gameplay experience for users.
- Identify and troubleshoot any server-side issues as they arise.
- Implement security measures to protect user data and prevent cheating.
- Work with the team to continuously improve and optimize the game's backend infrastructure.
Job Requirements
- Technically strong in Python (Flask /FastAPI must), Integration and backend technologies
- Have proficiency in SQL Databases (MySQL, MongoDB).
- Python database connectivity, Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM), (preferably SQLAlchemy, Alembic)
- Expertise in various GIT, build and deployment tools (CI/CD), code scanning
- Should have in-depth knowledge of Synchronous and Asynchronous REST API, Webhook, Web-Sockets.
- Knowledge of Unix, Linux, or equivalent development environments
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
