One of our leading clients in the B2B jewellery sourcing and supply industry in the UAE is seeking an experienced Accountant. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in accounting and financial management, with specific experience in the UAE. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and regulations.Job Title: AccountantLocation: Dubai, UAESalary: AED 5,000 per monthIndustry: JewelleryExperience: 2+ years (UAE experience mandatory)Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records.Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and regulations, including VAT and other tax filings.Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.Support month-end and year-end closing processes.Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making.Maintain accurate records of jewellery inventory and transactions.Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong understanding of UAE accounting standards, VAT, and tax regulations.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Effective communication skills.Benefits:Opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing industry.Professional development and growth opportunities.Competitive Salary and Standard Benefits
