Development Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Development Engineer to join our team. The Development Engineer will be responsible for the development, validation, and improvement of project systems and components. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing product specifications, identifying solutions, and ensuring project success through effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:Analyze product specifications and regulations to establish clear performance criteria.Define product functional analysis to translate customer requirements into performance standards.Ensure material choices meet mechanical performance requirements.Assist in creating and maintaining process documentation.Provide input to Design Engineers to ensure designs meet performance standards.Support Design Engineers in specifications knowledge and product robustness.Use tools to gather data on system/project performance.Identify parameter changes to drive desired system improvements.Collaborate with suppliers to determine parameter changes.Lead product validations and define validation plans.Interface with clients to provide updates and recommendations.Prepare detailed technical presentations for project reviews.Support achievement of quality, cost, and delivery targets.Report data on project progress.Support design reviews and engineering milestones.Undertake special projects as needed.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Perform quality control through appropriate reviews.Lead process improvement activities.Write reports and present progress at meetings.Achieve goals within budget constraints.Conduct benchmarking studies to identify best practices.Attend various meetings and communicate instructions.Produce written reports and presentations.Engage in continuous training and development.Perform root cause analysis and problem resolution.Support and train technicians and trainee engineers.Train team members within the work group.Job Requirement:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.3+ years of experience in product development, project management, or related roles.Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, technical drawings, and 3D modeling.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Knowledge of manufacturing processes and construction methods.Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other relevant software tools.Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
